A connected workflow
1. Bring the paperwork in
Upload PDFs and photos, including drag and drop, or connect a mailbox through IMAP. Originals stay attached to their records. Multiple files can support the same transaction.
2. Let AI do the first pass
Recognition identifies document details and, for financial content, proposed amounts, currency, parties, direction and category. An explanation helps you understand the content. Recognition logs show failures without treating a partially successful read as a fully valid result.
3. Review before relying on it
Correct fields against the original and review possible duplicates before creating or linking a transaction. An invoice, receipt and payment confirmation can describe the same business event: their presence alone does not justify counting it three times.
4. Explore what you have reviewed
Use the Overview to inspect income and expenses by period and category. Foreign-currency records can use historical exchange rates and a reviewed manual correction. Totals describe the records included in the workspace, not your bank balance.
5. Keep the evidence in reach
Questions in chat can refer to supporting documents. Company facts keep their sources and change history. The API, CLI and MCP interface make the knowledge accessible to other tools without replacing review or company access controls.
Data boundaries
Uploaded content and relevant excerpts may be sent to the configured external AI provider. Self-hosting does not mean that AI processing is automatically offline. Choose providers and retention settings suitable for the documents you are authorized to process.
